I was fishing just below  tamahi around noon and the water was super clear, I then shot up river a couple hours to see the dramatic change on my way home. Was that a clay slide?

I concur.  Fished all three sections and it was crystal up top, but only a foot at the middle.  The lower was not much better, still less than 2 feet.  Did not have a bite all day.  Even tried for trout in the canal, but nothing there, despite a good stone fly hatch around 3pm.

vis was around 3 feet around Peach where i started. hooked a fish on 3rd cast (on the fly) but lost it due to aerial display. fished another run close by and clarity was getting worse so i went down near the train bridge (sort of) and it was better and had another on again lost  :'(

river was getting murkier when i left at noon

Fished from Borden down to Vedder Camp Ground today.
Viz was excellent in upper river. Mid river around Thompson Park area had 2 feet of viz in early afternoon.
Dropped by Peach parking lot on the way home at 7 pm and water was green with viz of around 2~3 feet. Very fishable.

The river is perfect clear and low. Not even a nibble all day yesterday.
Was there a derby yesterday? So many anglers in the upper including myself.
Didn't see or hear of anyone catching anything. :-[
Where are the fish hiding?

Heya hue nut thx for the fish porn pics the other day it gave me hope.
I didn't get a bite on the river all season, it hurts pretty bad lol.
Don't you ever get discouraged when you get no bites?
Thx I see 2 vehicles as I pass Thompson park often. Hiking in there is worth it? Lol.
