actually putting a rope around the tail is something some of the guides do, not sure why because i see lots do it without. awesome fish  ;D

pretty sure your not aloud to put a rope around the fishes tail......

We only put the rope on once we were shore and the rope is a 1" soft braid as not to hurt the dino.

Hey awurban@msn. what greyghost was trying to say is that this is a pink salmon.Pink salmon have tiny scales and a tail heavily marked with large oval spots. Unlike the other salmon species, the tail of a pink has no silver in it. In the sea, pinks have silver bodies with spotted backs.
