There is already a thread discussing the "suspected problems" associated with taking photos of steelhead in the Ethics subforum.

Yours appears to be a buck.Bucks get more coloured, have slimmer bellies and have larger snouts (kype) Does have rounded snouts, fatter bellies(pre-spawn) ,usually just a blush of pink down the side and the ovi-positer(egg spawning tube)is often protuding ahead of the anal fin.Look back thru all the porn-pics and the differences will become noticeable

Hey Steelhead Fever.  Your fish is coloured, but still very nice.

As for the sex - what spoonman said.

If you don't like the fish you're catching... change the bait!!

I bought a Milner off of a member of this forum earlier this week. So I had to get it in the shot when I landed my first fish on it.

Then there is this picture from a few weeks ago.

probably lost it in its younger years of survival. I dont know of any maxilary clips either (besides some trout in lakes) It may even have been pulled off by another angler. I have pulled the bottom jaw off a chum in the past while battling it and the fish wasnt to badly rotten LOL
