There are max clipped steelhead in a two rivers in Region 2 actually.  Out of respect for Dion, since he didn't name the river he was on, I won't name them...

The Stave had a notice posted in february saying that this is the first year that max clips were returning there. I believe another member posted a thread about back then, they were doing a study on them and wanted feedback from anglers.

Some highlights of my year... wasn't out as much as I would have liked but it was good when I got the chance.

My first day using the roe fly... won't forget that one

Ed, that pano shot is soooo sick! I'd frame that, one look a that pic and anyone who has ever fished for them will say "steelhead"

Hatchery doe caught and released. My second steelhead ever...took 6 trips to the river to get my first two weeks earlier. Any ideas on aprox weight?
