  • Sometimes I fish, sometimes I catch

Couple of nice sox pulled out near Hope on the 23rd:

Good sized spring a few days earlier:

L'il, 'bitty Alta Lake 'bow that took a leech pattern on the afternoon of Aug 14th:

Some decent sized fish pulled out of a lake near 70-mile:

Fly-fishing was failure; dewies were the ticket that trip.

I edited my original post afterwords to avoid an extra post.  Oh well so much for that idea  :D

my second and last trip this year about 10 days ago in hope.  I did not measure it or weight it but the guys at the bar told me it is a tyee.
I landed two more and lost another one that day but only one sockeye.  lol
now don't ask me what method I was using and how "ethical" was that because there are a hook, some length of leader, and a sink leader or a kind of bouncing betty involved in almost any method of angling.
the fish is gutted and cleaned and looks slimmer in the picture than it really was.
