Fly Fishing Courses
« on: January 09, 2011, 09:55:41 AM »

Hey all.  I'm looking for any fly fishing courses that are available in the Lowermainland, specifically around Mission.  I found some offered by Pacific Angler (intro to Fly fishing) starting soon, but they might be a bit too far for me to make.  Any other sugestions?

I'll get in touch with Randy to see what upcoming classes are available at Hatch Match'r and will post it soon.

I taught my first weekend class (have always taught night school) and found it went very well. I will be talking to Randy, re late spring classes, later this month. Todd Oishi also teaches out of shop, and i would suggest any of his classes are well worth both the wait and price.

Riverside Fly & Tackle runs an excellent intro to fishing program called Fly 101.

Both Garry Elgear (shop owner) and Christian Somogyi run it and is held monthly.

(They also have hour casting lessons for $25  ex. Fly casting, spey, and more.)
