Well, that was a weird one....too many story lines to pick from.

PP, mostly good.
PK, mostly bad.
The 4th line changes, wtf.
Lou, the good and the bad.
Niemi, the mostly good.
The officiating, wtf.  Worst game, for and against I have seen in a while.
The almost comeback, fun to watch Mcllelan and Jumbo looking so nervous.  Worth tuning in for in and of itself.
Canucks depth on the D to come to the aid via w/Ballard and Alberts?

If that was the best Sharks game, and a poor Nucks game that ended with a 1 goal differential, I'll take it.

Game 4 will be a doozy of a nooner.

GO CANUCKS GO.

Record setting three goals in quick fashion.

Sharks are up against it.  Need to score at least 3 in the 3rd to force OT.

Against the Jennings winning team.

If the Canucks had that PP in game 3, this series is over. But I guess we'll have to take a 3-1 series lead.

How about the number of Nuck fans in SJ? Very audible in that loud building.

Boarderline hit by Torres, but a chance to put a lick in on their best player, I like that he took it. No different than McGinn on Sedin, but at least Torres did it without taking a penaly. Joe coiuld have a shoulder injury, but you gotta think he'll play.

How about that D depth, something that no other team in the league could roll out.

An absolute abomination of officiating. Great job by the Canucks coaching staff to make adjustments on the PK. Changed their box formation, and rotations, completely befuddled the Sharks PP.

Tuesday is going to be electric in Vancity.

It must be tiring being you on a daily basis. If you want to talk hockey, go ahead.  Although I doubt you can.

You're not remotely funny, you are not witty, you aren't even insightful in your attempted jabbing, its not even trash talk.  Its just utter fluff.  You continue to embarass yourself not just by your attempted predictions but that you add absolutely nothing to any thread you type in.  You just vomit green bile in the form of internet blabber, no substance.

Grow up.

I think you're being a little hard on him......   On the other hand his typing skills are pretty good for a 2 year old.  :D

Anyhoo, back to real hockey talk I posted something on the globe and mail forum, where I spend most of my hockey chat.  I feel bad for Jumbo Joe getting carved up by the media.

Its too bad for him.  I liken him to Henrik, only bigger.

Both slow the pace of the game, control the puck, allow the defender to initiate contact, spin off, protect the puck, make plays/passes on the back hand better than pretty much anyone else in the game.

The difference?

Hank has Daniel that shoots with a high percentage and can play catch better than anyone Joe has.  Further, Hank has a relentless, tireless, gutsy, puck pursuit player in Burrows retrieving broken play pucks and posting up in the slot, stick down, ready for the invetible tape to tape pass.  And can finish and help make room out there.

Joe has guys with no heart, no desire, no will to sacrifice, cycling through on his flanks.  Too bad, he is a good player, but can only do much as he doesn't have the speed or shot to dominate a game on his own.
