I'll support the team through anything, but I will not come on here and spew my luongo love like you do, you talk about goal scoring, but how disheartening is it when your keeper can't make one save ?? Especially when the guy in the other goal stops everything whether he sees it or not, I admit the team has looked awful in the second and third periods, if luongo makes the saves he should make the team wouldn't sag and they would have most likely won both games 3&4 , no matter what you believe, luongo was absolutely awful last night on every goal but one !!! Even he knew he was awful, you could see it in his body language, you talk about saves that wernt his fault...... What about Thomas who stops everything including goals that shouldn't be stopped That is an elite goalie !!! Lou is not and never will be

Just ask yourself this question ...... If luongo is truly as good as you think he is , why do so many people dislike him ?

Luongo made some mistakes for sure. No doubting that. but after watching the last 2 games it is VERY CLEAR even if you dont know hockey that it is not his fault. The D has been horid and the forwards are not winning face offs and are getting involved in a game they cant win. Speed, D, crisp passes, board battles and having fun will win the cup for Vancouver. and i will go as far as saying that they may do it again a couple more times in the 3 or 4 yrs to come. The leafs will be the number one contender!

If you are blaming Luongo you dont know hockey. its just because you see thomas on the other end standing on his head last 2 games and you think the grass is greener on the other side. Typical Van fan. Take it easy cup is theirs to lose in my opinion. and you will see Vancouver win 2 in a row. You heard it hear first.

He was BETTER than Thomas tonight. 31 save shutout, best penalty killer in the game.

Shots were 31-25 and Luongo was SPECTACULAR not just solid. Unlike Thomas he just makes saves look easier as he doesnt flop around like a wounded fish. He stays in the paint and makes himself big. Totally different styles. Its like comparing Patrick Roy to Dominek Hasek. Very different styles but both effective.
