Does anyone know of any stores selling reasonably priced neoprene waders?or breathable's? I am about 5'10-5'11,40'' waste...wide shoulders,and big chest...anyone know what size I should be looking for?

the guys a Pacific Angler on West broadway have always been of great help to me with purchases like that wit top quality products and service. They are a good bunch of guys. except the guy named jason.He is questionable. JK! Jason is the owner an he is a great guy.

Yup, locally is your best option.  You can try on all sorts of different types to find the ones that suit you best.

Remember to bring/wear the clothes you plan on wearing with your waders.

sea run tackle is awesome. they always hook me up with a deal. waders aren't cheap - you will likely need to buy boots too, so prepare to spend 175-500 total

Probably a little more if you want a pair that's going to last you more than a few trips... My first pair were 120 bucks and leaked in a couple trips. my second pair 190 dollar neopremes leaked after about 12 trips. now third pair 400 dollars seem to be holding up much better. this is all in less than a year...

I'll second Sea-Run Fly & Tackle www.sea-run.com. I've purchased 4 pairs of waders from them over the last 10 years.  Never had any problems.  They easily have the best and biggest selection in the lower mainland.  Give Drew call there at -604-931-5044 and he will help you out, just don't ask him about his secret fishing hole ha ha ha. They are located at #110-1140 Austin Avenue in Coquitlam.

I wouldn't pass up Berry's Bait & Tackle if you are near there because they have a reasonable selection of waders from a number of different vendors.

I got my waders and boots there and was impressed both by how helpful the staff were and their prices were as good as anywhere.

PS:  Sea-run fly and tackle are good too.

you may be able to buy a little less expensive on line at times but you cant build relationships with a website. Also if you purchase your products at a store like pac angler and you encounter problems, stores like that will give you loaners/.help you get a proper warranty service/ help you repair the product. There may be a few advantages of buying product online, I personally like the face to face experience better with the local shops for a variety of reasons that out weigh the potential discounts of on line shopping.

Best Price for Cheaper Waders would be at Wholesale or Army & Navy, if you are willing to pay more, you will bet better quality, I would have a look at the new Bare Neo's, they are Very good for the Price.

Can can usually pick up a decent pair of bear neoprenes for 80-90 bucks, at most tackle shops.
Also freds tackle is selling Freestones breathable for 200 bucks, I think thats a good deal.
