They start now and are there for a month.

Get out there and fish.

Does anyone know when the pinks start running up the North Arm of the Fraser River?

Same as the south arm

Was out tonight on the south arm from 6-8. Had one one for a while, then it swam right up on the rocks, Spit the hook and was off. Lots more risers tonight. Probably saw about 20 or so. Water clarity is quite poor (6 inches) which is making it hard to catch fish but they out there

I dont like the sounds of that, I was at my secret spot tonight, didnt see aything riseing, saw 1 flop out of the water, and that was all..
I was there 5:30-7:45... And I am guessing I was just east of you.. wierd..  maybe this spot isnt the holy grail i thought it would be..

I hooked 3 and landed one in about a 1.25 hours tonight. Steady, but not spectacular, action. Given the water clarity and the relative few numbers of jumpers/risers, I am quite haappy with the 3.

The two that I lost were fiesty and made some sizzling, entertaining runs before they got unbuttoned. The one I landed was a humpy male that did more wallowing than running.

FWR spoon ca. 2007 was the ticket.

Darn that's too bad. It looks like there was a nice incoming tide in that time range too.

Richmond News FREEBIE newspaper Aug 31/2011 front page pic of a sports fisherman in a yellow Kayak near Gerry Pt Pk with a fishing rod in his hand (other hand is not holding rod) & it has a bend thus there must be a hooked salmon.
Do not think the current would pull the rod down as it looks to be a slack tide.

Definately sunny as there are sun rays glaring in the water.

FISH ON ! There is them there fish in those waters granny..............dust off the fishing gear & put it in high gear to get them there "pinks" ;D

Going to hit some spots down river road tonight working the incoming tide.  I have a few honey holes.  If they are hear, and catchable, I will find them.  lol
