hooked 5 in Surrey today but lost them all, should've brought a landing net xp
One of them, at least 10lb, put up an amazing fight that gave me sore arms( don't know if that was even a pink)
funny thing is that I didn't see any jumping, but the fishes are really in the river now

yeah Brownsville Bar. Strangely though, a guy who was using blue/purple croc? spoon was getting way more fish
than others using the typical pink colored lure

Interesting. I guess darker colors work better in poor visibility.

This is my first season fishing for pinks. I was fishing at north arm from 9am-12pm today and got sunked. No bites and didnt even see any jumping. There were 3 other guys, didnt see them catch anything also. Still waiting for my first pink

Give South Arm a go, most fish travel through South Arm especially early in the season.

Some better results tonight even though there were not that many fish going by, water clarity was slightly better.

Glad to hear some of you are getting into fish!  I instead decided to take care of some items on the honeydo list, so as to get the green card for tomorrow afternoon/evening and all day saturday.  heheh...

Tight lines!

I was out off Dyke road in richmond from 5pm-8:30pm this evening, at one point we would see them roll about every 10 minutes, but didn't catch anything with a pink striped croc spoon or a similar pink spoon. I didn't see anyone else catch any while I was there.

Was out between No 3 and Gilbert.. Fished out by the Western lot from 5 - 8. Caught one male on a bright pink spoon. Guy nearby caught one on a spinner. Lost of jumpers but few fish caught.
