ugh! went out today again to derby reach for 3 hours. saw fish surfacing, few actually jump. casted out in front of them, not even a bite. im starting to think im doing something wrong, i kept with the same pink 3/8oz spoon. am i doing something wrong, should i be casting ahead of them? on top of them, whats the deal? starting to feel like it just aint workin for me

I went out to the same spot as I did on Friday when I got 5 fish and today I only got 1 (a huge male) despite there being a lot of jumpers and rollers around.  Sometimes the bite just isn't on (regardless of what Oilcruzer says).

Yes, both days I was fishing the incoming tide.  Both days the fish only started to show during the flood.  However, on Friday the fish were more than willing to take my offerings, but today they just were not interested in biting (I did not see anyone else catch one while I was out).

Yeah I saw maybe 10-12 guys anyone no one appeared to have anything in the few hours I was there, your guess is as good as mine . Fish are like people, just because we see food doesn't mean we eat it...well, most of us that is.

I was out Saturday night 6-8 and hooked 4 landed 2 both males around 5 lbs. Lots of fish were rising in real shallow too

good day out, but this is what its all about ! my son Brody got 3 to the net and lost a bunch ! good times !wants to go again 2mrw lol but i'm burnt to a crisp !

pic removed as i'm getting to many e-mails and pm's about that spot ! the river is big and if ur in a boat just find a place to anchor in 10 to 20 feet of water and cast spoons ! or buzz bombs! Good luck !

Finally seeing some large schools of fish entering the river during the last three or four incoming tides.

went out today manage to land 1 within 5hrs of fishing tons of fish coming thru in schools jumping and flipping just not taking was fishing off the shore maybe try wadding in next time see if that helps good luck to all

Is there any idea of how many Pinks pass through the South arm as Compared to the North Arm?

You would think that you would have the best opportunity to catch pinks after where the South and North arms converge but that doesn't actually seem to be case based on my experience....

Ridiculously massive amount of fish moving through tonight. It was awesome. Awesome to watch that is, not so much the catching.

  it is a sight to see them rolling around jumping around showing themselves just within reach and not bite but thats only part of the fun. didn't get to go out today but will try tomorrow.
