Port man area 3.30 -4.30  Not as many fish today as previous visits. Managed to land two. My son caught his first salmon - his 9 year old arm has never had such a workout   ;D good times.

Fished mid river in Pitt Meadows from 1 pm to 7 pm on the incoming tide. Caught 6 large pinks with about 8 hook ups that were lost. Action was best as the tide started to move up. Got really dead from 4 till 7.

hi there  may I ask where exactly is mid river in pitt meadows?

* I mean is that a river called mid river or middle of fraser river  ?

Mid river refers to the middle portion of the tidal Fraser. The Surrey/Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge/Langley area.

Fished derby reach from 1230 to 345 without even a single bite . Skunked for the 3rd time in a row :( blame it on the commercial fisheries I suppose. Beautiful weather and it'd always fun to watch people fish rediculously; sturgeon rods , trying to floss, 10ft casts with a float. No snags today other than picking up what seems to be a nice looking homemade spinner.

fished derby reach today from 6:30am to 9am. hooked into one and lost it 5 feet from shore again. not many jumpers. saw a bunch of dead salmon floaters though. skunked for my third time in a row as well, and lost my lure as it got snagged on something so overal, a very disappointing day.

Me and two buddy's were out in delta yesterday. Really slow landed one between the three of us. Hopefully will pick back up when the comercial fishing closes. Anyone know where that is?
