Yep, was getting impatient there. That fish was done but the waves kept coming, wanted to get it released as soon as I could.

Feel free to go there, it has been producing poorly in the last five or six days. If people strategize their fishing outing in the Tidal Fraser River based on where others are fishing, then it's not going to go well. I'll keep repeating myself, timing of the tide and patterns from years of catch results are two very important factors that I pay a lot of attention on.

Fished the rocks at Brownsville Bar this morning from 6:45 a.m. until about 8:15.

Hooked two, landed one (a doe). Only saw two others landed in that time.

Fished in Richmond at high tide Sunday evening for 2 hours with two lost pinks at shore. Didn't see anyone else with a fish on.

Well, I guess all of us that fish the lower Fraser better get used to the "trickle" of Pinks, because it is official! Notice FN0879 just announced an upgrade of Pink run size to 17.5 million, but an extension of the seine fishery until at least Sept. 16 and the troll fishery remaining open until further notice. Too bad, so sad.

I'm assuming the seine fishery and troll fishery are commercial fishing, so commercial fishing is open until at least Sept. 16th?

Fished down at Rodneys Rock 2-6.30 the was a small push of fish around 3.30 no biters exept 1 guy then it died down then another push of fish at 5 lost 2 and landed 1

I agree with commercial guys getting an opening but this is getting stupid. I have been down the last four days with two fish to show for it. Worse yet this will affect the numbers of spawners. They can whine and complain about sporties all they want but they can only blame themselves when two years from now there is a lack of pinks. I know we are the bottom of the totem pole but this is getting stupid

Sucks to hear that!  Maybe pink fishing in Richmond will come to end this year...
