Go to the abbotsford area and above....all the fish coming in through the night are in that area....

would it be still good fishing to fish during the late afternoon? 5-7?

Was out a few klicks south of the alex fraser delta side. A net jus got dropped from one side clear across the water. Making my way out to langley now.

I watched those 2 gill netters (FN?) looking for fish near Delta today. They were moving up river finding nothing on the lower end. Not sure how far they went or how they did.

Still plenty of fresh fish in the lower river.  Here are the first 3 of many more hooked this morning, and all that were brought to the boat were as silver as these.  The improved visibility seemed to make them more aggressive as these were really biting, not the soft tug that we are used to, these were strong pulls and their runs were screaming as well.  All were hooked on a small pink and gold wolly bugger.

Had a bit of luck last week, there were definitely a few being landed, and were irrespective of tide. We got there at low tide when a couple were caught then every so often leading up to high tide one would be pulled in.

I can't find any updates on what the commercial fishery is doing. I assume judging by the posts above that they are still open as of today. When do they close? .. my guess is when the run is nearly gone and nothing left for the sports fishery. Tough for us, but they have to make a living.
