Some of the more experienced have taken the time to post advice on how to cure roe, what type of gear to use, and the type of water to fish.  Heck they have even offered advice on how to cook the d**n things!

i don't many locations, but the one i know are well known and yes i'm going to reveal them on the internet

it's not the internet that ruined fishing and good secret spots, it's the over population on such a small area and most importantly the lack of fish

when resources are abundant everybody is happy and there is no need for secret spots or any other nonsense

if we dont recognize the fact that there is no fish and that there are too many fishermen for the little fish we have then all te talk is just in vain

if we keep perpetuating the legend that we live in a fishermans paradise then we just lie to ourselves

Nope, don't hate anyone on this board.  I may not agree with what everyone says though.  Have you read my past posts?  I have tried to help newbies on this board by giving advice on various fishing related topics.  May not be the best advice out there but at least I try.  I rarely post reports though.  Should I be criticised for that?  Secret spots?  LOL nope, I don't have any secret spots to protect.  I fish spots that are well known.  I often have to fish in crowded conditions but I accept that.  I've never said that the internet was the main cause of the crowds on our rivers.  My opinion is that the crowds are mainly the result of the rise in popularity of the floss fishery on the fraser and the allowance of retention on all species of salmon.   When I first started fishing the Vedder well over 20 years ago, all you could keep were Spring Jacks,  Steelies and Coho.  Pinks, Chums and Socks were off limits.

Go ahead and post whatever you like.  I don't really care.  My issue was not because the question was asked, rather the poster's reaction when he didn't get an answer he wanted to hear.  I get a sense that there are some members in here that expect others to give up there fishing spots and if they don't then they are labeled as being secretive and not helpful. 

DanJohn said it best.  You learn alot more on the river than you do on the internet.  I've met some of my best fishing buddies on the river.  Exchanged lots of info on the river and have benefitted greatly from it.  That's the advice that I give.  Stop waiting for people to post fishing spots on the net and go out and find some on your own.

Where are you folks fishing to lose so much terminal tackle? If I hit a snag more than once, I move. I've lost about 1/2 dozen flies and spoons, and have caught dozens of fish.

Hard to give a ratio as I have no idea how many fish I have landed but only lost one spoon and it was to a fish due to line abraision.

all landed (6) were on a "rod spoon",( lower Fraser) 2 beauties got off at the feet, on a silver and err niece modified with fuchsia nail polish 3/8oz spinner sapperton-ish, another absolute cracker which off a couple yards out this AM on pink peril fly with type 8 head on the skagit/switch rod on what was more of a testing/practice session.

Tried a new location yesterday just under the Queensborough Bridge. Only saw 1 fish jump on the other side of the river. Had good success the other 3 days in delta.

Test Fishery at Cottonwood. The trend doesn't look good for this weekend in the lower Fraser.

You just missed them. My wife and I were there from about 10:30 until noon.

We hooked into five, landed one. I saw six or seven others landed.

Fished the north arm today. Saw some fish jumping and also managed to hook a few for once on the north arm! . I was starting to lose hope on finally catching some fish on this arm of the fraser.

ooo btw I noticed today that the city put up "emergency only" signs on the north arm along river road?!   luckily i found a signed that was turned the other way.... so i parked there.

Was slow because you were fishing the wrong tide.

Pinks in the mid river section are not tide dependant. If they are there you will catch them.
