Rod got into a few fish. I was fishing further on the left side. We had a beautiful afternoon with the sun shining upon the "Might Fraser". From where I saw that fish caught.....I saw CHROME!! 8) 8)

Was out Friday morning at Brownsville Bar from about noon until 1:30 p.m., and then just west of the Alex Fraser Bridge for a while after that.

Saw a number of fish coming in, but not a single bite on my lure.

How do you tell the springs from the pinks when you see the fish jump? I saw a lot of jumpers but couldn't tell from a distance.

Lower Fraser all morning and the rising tide this afternoon, at least a dozen anglers out, not many fish seen and no bites.  Don't think anyone even landed a pink today around me .... it was a good summer of pink fishing, probably the last pink salmon fishing day for me  :(

Fished 4-6 port man area. Landed one (large male, real fighter) and lost three. Definitely tapering off but still well worth the effort. Gibbs croc orange, i have lost all my megawatts  :'(

Not as many fish showing themselves on the surface this evening, but it still resulted in quite a few hook-ups. ;D

ahans showed up and only took two casts to get his fish. :D Another forum member also landed a chinook today, I'd say between 10 and 15lb. :o I managed to hook a cutthroat trout and missed another fish.

Got into 10, landed 4.  Lower river off the boat. Theyre still plenty of pinks but not as steady.

Hooked 6 landed 4, mid river Saturday late afternoon. Of the 8 or 10 people I could see, everyone seemed to get into at least one or two. Pinks are still to be found, if you are willing to put in your time.

Although I do sense the sarcasm in this post, this is actually the plan. Im gonna go get a decent little fly rod set up, learn to trick some trout, and then next year move up to a 9wt for the Salmon run. So this year, salmon is done for this angler. Was an awesome summer. Learned a lot, and had some of the best experiences of my life. Gained a lot of respect for fish, and the waterways that I once looked at as just a barrier to the other side of the city. This forum helped a lot with that!
