Pinks in Scotland
« on: August 23, 2011, 11:17:45 AM »

Looks like we will be having a Pink fishery in Scotland shortly, save me going to BC.

Seems the pinks are coming down from the coast of Russia, and have been found in bigger numbers in the rivers in Norway, i know from my fishery management days that it has been illegal to introduce fish into the UK since 1952.
Norway will be getting it hard as some of the rivers are just finishing the Gyrodactylus clean up , if your not sure what this is, have a look......... really scary stuff, and so far we have avoided it in Scotland with strict rules for fishermen coming from abroad.
