Lower Fraser sturgeon bait

I think it's bait ban now in fraser

Only for salmon fishing.

so Capilano river is bait ban now, is it for coho or everything? Can I still use bait in cap for like trout in that case?

Possibly, but unlikely. The gear type (hook size) used for sturgeon is not so effective for salmon.

No, because for the Capilano River, it is a total bait ban for all species.

the difference is the size of the bait on your hook as well as the size of your hook

grab a floater and bring some gloves and a strong stomach and cut it up and tie it on and toss it in !

maybe, but i would think it has something to do with the fact that your fishing 30-50ft on the bottom......

try some oolies they never fail or sockeye roe did the trick for me last time good luck

Better yet, grab the floater, cut it into strips and stick the strips in a ziplock bag in an old drink cooler (one you will never want to use again for anything else) for 3 days in this heat.  This "stink bait" will get you hooked up.

Pink salmon body parts at this should work the best for Sturgeon.

Pink Roe is working well know maybe tried a bit o' flesh on the hook as well.
