Location: Nicomen slough
Time: Early November
Target: Coho

You: gear
Me: fly

I'll pay you 100 dollars for every fish you catch more than me.
You pay me 50 dollars for every fish I catch more than you.

Up for it?

What a great little river to fish at that time of year, Just full of coho!

Yup, and with the bait ban in place and the slooooow moving water, it really is a fly fishing heaven not far from home.

bait ban on nicomen? never heard of that. I would take that challenge and win fishing my runs in the slough no contest. ChromeKings knows where im talking about.

when pink fishing, any piece of water with even a little flow, gear fishing shrimp will crush flies badly..

Is there pinks in the Nicomen? I've only ever caught coho and chums.

I was under the impression that when there's a bait ban on the Fraser, there is bait ban on all of its northern tribs.  ???

If you are using bait, then it is no contest, I agree. But you will have to find someone else to play, as for me the idea is to FOOL the fish with artificials, not to feed them roe and shrimp.
If I wanted to feed the fish, I'd get a bloody aquarium! ;)
