If anyone is interested in joining a Yahoo Hockey pool, and has at least a bit of experience with pools, please let me know and I will post the details here.

We do it every year (usually via a different fishing website), but are going to have a few spots open this year and I thought I would open it up to the fine folks of FWR.

It is a league where we have a live online draft.  It takes about an hour, then you have your own roster to manage for the season.  It doesn't take much time to manage, but you have to stay somewhat active to at least set your roster for the week (takes 5-10 minutes to set your roster for the week) but you can be as hands on as you like.

 An exciting end to a great first game...to bad it was a shoot out loss.  These boys need to learn to deke better, although Fleury's grab on Burrows was fabulous.

The game felt like it took forever to finish, must have been the CBC Announcers just making it sound so dull

Yes, he should be in fine form by Christmas.  As bad as Luongo was, and as out of sync as the Sedins looked early on, they managed to battle back to force a shoot out.  That is a positive sign for the first game of the season.  Would be nice to have a chance in a shoot out though.

You mean the 16th (My birthday).

EDIT: They actually play each other on both the 6th and 16th. Just checked.
