Woke up WAY to early and had to hang out at McDoanlds and read the paper until it got light out.
Got to peach just before it was light and geared up and it started to pour... this is a good thing, whole river to myself!
I couldn't BELIEVE how may pinks where coming though, was there for about 2 hours, they didn't like my spinners as I only got into two and I prob watched 100 fish swim up.
Around 8am went to upper vedder/chilliwack river, tried my roe for ho's. Hooked one but lost it, another guy got two (one was hatchery and he promptly let it go), good on you "dave" for not taking the fish out of water until you ID'd it. If your on this forumn, sorry if I was being weird that I made such of point of that and saying "good job" about the way you handled it, there were a couple younger guys (my age) and I wanted them to see the right way to handle a fish.
**edit, went by Keith Wilson bridge on way home, about 12 guys, there, nice again too see people not snagging but fishing. Funny how the weather keeps some at home.
