Was there today it was close to blowing out when I left. Also not many coho around makes me wonder if the natives have been netting the mouth again.

Was on the Harrison on Nov 11,it rained all day till 1pm. When the clouds cleared there was fresh snow on the lower elevation mountains. One can assume that the river would have come up a bit as most of the rain would have be snow and freezing overnite temps would slow down the run off.

Too bad i was hoping to spend a little quality time with my son on the river, its a long way to go from the island if there are'nt many fish around. Funny my son was talking to a guy the other day that said he hooked 30+ hoes on the Chehailus in three days this is some sort of feat, i was very skeptical about it after all i have read about the lack of fish on the river, how could one guy hook so many while 30 fishermen havent hooked that number ??????? I am hoping it picks up.

Ever since the Chehalis river diverted above the hatchery the fishing there has been very poor . That river used to be a premier river for coho , rivaling the Chilliwack . Now at the hatchery there is not even a river anymore . Even fisheries now lists the hatchery channel as separate entity from the Chehalis river .

It is a disgrace what has happened to that river . As far as I'm concerned that hatchery should be closed down considering what is happening now .The big question is , where are the Coho in that river going ?

i am not sure what it used to be like, but i had alot of success early in the season on this flow. the last time i was there i saw a alot of hatchery fish in the hatchery canal, verk dark though. lately the water has been low. maybe that has something to do with it.
