I just want to be able to get to locations no other mobile food vendor could

Then why not a "food boat". Bank maggies could just wave you down.

He now works and lives out of that little burger shack hut beside OTW store... ;)

If you happen to run into him, tell him Matt (from Port Alberni) says Hi, and to give me a shout before steelhead season over here! Haven't seen him in a couple of years now...

Cheers & TIA!

that is true ... follow the fish . and there will be fishermen/women .

I am not sure what the interior fishing crowds are like in the kamloops and hwy 24 areas are like . but that is another area i would like explore possibilities .

my idea is not for a traditional , panel truck tandem axle enclose food truck . More of a 4x4 capable truck with a food cart in the back ... but NOT a hotdog style cart . difficult to explain . Breakfast options would be important to offer .

I just want to be able to get to locations no other mobile food vendor could .

Would have been awesome to have some sort of food up at Thompson this weekend  ;D
Only food was at Lytton so we spent the whole day with empty stomachs  :P

you could have eaten at the packing house (great food) or the log cabin pub.

Not that it is a big deal but the fellow that was at Tamihi for a couple of years lives up country. Met him 2 out of the last 3 years while I was hunting around S.B.

after a quick number crunch ... it seems i would need a average of 50 customers a day ( working 16 days a month) in order for this venture to be worth while . otherwise it would be better left to someone who is retired and just needed a some extra cash and something to do .

i have food and beverage costs figured out as I was a manager for a local breakfast franchisee , so there is no issue there . transportation costs per day is a biggie though .

thanks for the discussion so far , it is nice to hear . :)

Seems there are a lot of people against it (Jeff if you go on my FB you'll see why lol)... mostly just sent out reports to the people that took time to email me.
Might throw up a quick one at some point in the near future.

And yes Dennis old enough to drink, just didn't see anything near the river driving between Spences Bridge and Lytton.

ED, you can hold your own against any internet cowboy; you've shown that.  Post if you want to; don't let a few stuffed shirts spoil this time in your life ;)
