Went to college and became a civil eng tech. Played with soil gravel, asphalt, and cement for a couple of years. Went back to school and became a surveyor, did that for seven years then opened my own art business. Did that for about fifteen years and am now a Realtor here in Ontario. This is the best job I have ever had, wish I would of did it ten years ago when I first thought of taking it up. The courses I had to take to get my licence were much harder then anything I ever did in college, but it is very rewarding and I get as much time to fish now as I want. By the way I am going to Whistler for ten days on a ski trip with a gang of hard core skiiers and was thinking of heading to the Wack for a couple of days to try my hand at steelhead fishing halfway through the ski trip. Will be there at the end of january. Would love to hook up with a board member to show me the ropes. Any takers?

 My best advice I can give you is to give BentRod a call. He does guided trips on the Vedder for steelhead. He even has a place for people to stay. He is a member on this site. When it comes to steelhead he is the guy to go to. http://bentrods.ca/

Work at a daycare, looking for something better... have a degree from UBC in Human Kinetics and a B.Ed

I also have my BC teaching certificate but there just aren't any jobs out there, cant even get on a sub list...

did many years offset web printing. then i worked at a local boating store with fishing department. now its spray foam insulation.

work for Ledcor contracting work for telus. basically installing telus phone/internet/tv.  good money ;) but never anytime to go fishing, i work weekends like almost all the time, get one weekend off a month, soon will be 2.

'73-'74 - chokerman/rigging slinger
'74-'79 - flooring/carpet layer
'79-present - electrician. Have been working as a traffic systems electrician for the last 18 yrs. Get to retire in a couple years, can't wait..
