I just retired, so my new work will be looking for new Steelhead water this winter.

Work at a daycare, looking for something better... have a degree from UBC in Human Kinetics and a B.Ed

I also have my BC teaching certificate but there just aren't any jobs out there, cant even get on a sub list...




 Yup try Surrey. We are the biggest district in Western Canada and the second biggest in Canada. It really helps if you can teach something other then PE. I have worked for the District for almost 20years, until a workplace accident put me on disability.

I've applied to every district in the lower mainland many times. Unless you have a specialty area (tech ed, upper level sciences or math, french, etc..) no one is hiring. I'm an elementary teacher  so I would teach all subject areas, but i would also feel comfortable teaching PE in high school.

I'm a postdoctoral fellow & roboticist at UBC; I run the robotics lab there (if anyone want's to shake hands with a robot, I have a study open!)

i do time and attendace equipment for payrolls   aka i sell and fix time clocks im sure most of you hate me now lol in english i fix and sell punch clocks lol
