Went out fishing yesterday in Aggasiz...

Noticed the logging road up to mount woodside was all blocked off, and when I came around the corner and saw coppers at the hang/hand gliding landing I knew it must have had something to do with the jump spot at the top. Saw a helicopter buzzing around too. They were still there 4 hours later, although the helicopter was landed.

Apparently a women came detached from her guided trip and fell right after launching.
Thoughts and prayers for her family...

Yes very sad indeed.
Can't imagine the fear that this poor lady experience. 

Knowing she was in trouble ,then trying to hang on.

Finally free falling knowing it would take a miracle  to survive the fall.

In N Vancouver on the suspension bridge a baby  fell from it's mom's arms.

Zillion to 1 the baby survived with hardly a scratch.
For tree branches or whatever broke the fall. Good story on that one

Heard the news from last night---The hang-gliding pilot whose tandem passenger fell to her death has been charged with obstruction of justice in the police investigation

Yup. The hang gliding instuctor ate the memory card from the camera he had on him. I would assume it shows the whole instance of the woman falling, and the why, but that is heresay at this point and I dont know. We will find out though.
