Getting rid of the HST is not necessarily a good thing. Like everyone I dont like the way it was introduced but allot of what it is works for this province. You will now see the film industry go down in flames unless the government give them some tax breaks. Many businesses will also suffer.
I have always been a Liberal but at this point in time I dont like any of the parties. I will not vote for Dix.
A real Liberal? or a fake Liberal like the Social Credit/BC Reform calling themselves liberal? If the latter then John Cummins would suit you.
The Film industry gets loads of tax breaks as it is and was going strong ling before HST and will continue to.
The reason this province is in the mess it is in is because the conservatives calling themselves liberals ruined things. The convention centre over runs was more than fast ferries yet the very bias media never harps on that or the Canada line over runs, BC Rail, BC ferries, increasing fees to the people while eliminating out right the corporate capital tax for banks, reducing corporate taxes from 16.5% to 10%. So where is all this prosperity with HST, corporate tax breaks, Olympics we were suppose to have? BC is fast becoming a low wage conservative province with natural resource jobs disappearing only to be replaced by low wage service jobs.
Dix will win next year and Muclair in 2015 so get used to it, times are changing and people are seeing what damage right wing governments are doing. They only care about corporations and big business. Average people and small business they could care less about and if anyone does not see that well I pity your ignorance.
