Wholesale Sports in Burlington, WA always seems to be pretty cheap. Good selection too.

I use a 400b in the Fraser and it's a solid reel. As for a rod I have a old 11 foot berkley technique it's 25 lbs rating. With that reel and rod and a 15 lbs leader and some side pressure and newb can stop one of those vedder reds dead in its tracks.

Hey Dave, long time eh? Work at West Shore Sportfishing in Victoria for the time being until I make my move to Coast Guard...
Looking for a cheap set-up? Let me know your details in what exactly your looking for and a price range...Im sure I can hook up an ol' buddy with a screamin deal ;D

The catch? Haha, it's been years since Ive really fished the river, thus, a day or so on the banks sometime would be much appreciated.
Obviously every system+run has changed since I moved ;D ;D ;D

My email has changed but let me know and I'll toss you the newone

Time for you to get a real rod and reel lol. Buy a center pin combo and found out exactly what you have been missing.
