Went to Cable Pool today and there was a lot of fish in there. Had some chasers on Olive Wooly Buggers but all fish turned around last second. So I put on a black Bugger and first cast a fish followed it and grabbed it. Took it to the stairs and saw it was a Sea-run Dolly of about 2 pounds. Let it go and continued fishing. There was 3 people, one gear guy hooked one on roe. The other fly guy landed a perfect coho, chrome and not a single scale missing. Me and the other guy had a few more chasers but that was pretty much it. I couldnt gert down as much as I wanted, but the other guy could and was getting more chasers than me.

Dolly...nice!

That exact scenario you described of coho chasing your wooly bugger and turning away last minute is one of the reasons I gave up flyfishing for them  :P
