Isn't it really cold to wet wade? I thought about it because even with breathable it is probably too hot.

Finally, some video footages of sockeye caught by float fishing in the Lower Mainland. Are the shells off those prawn or do you keep them on?

Re: cheap or expensive polarized glasses

Queensborough Walmart had a box of bulk (no packaging) berkley polarized glasses for $6.99 each so I bought the remaining ones.  Much better deal then the packaged ones at $15-20 for the same thing.

Rodney, I love wet wading, the "camera wife" missed my full plunk under which seems to be happening more as I get older  .
As for the prawns, seems they like em many different ways, probably the best kind are the fully shelled head on small uncooked "pinky" shrimp from the west coast, if you find these, please lert me know I would buy bulk amounts. Other than that, small prawn tails cooked or uncooked work well as do ghost shrimp, which are too much hassle for me to go get. Bright colors and actually many colors can be key, The Irish(who fish a very mean prawn), will often have many clolors of prawn with them for a days salmon fishing.

Great deal Cutt22, that would be perfect for me, a box of polarized "sungoggles" is always welcome at that price.

very nice video!! I have not been out yet this year...so it's nice to see somebody catching fish!!

pretty cool! sockeye is one of my most favourite fish to target with a float. They are are hard scrapers very acrobatic almost reminiscent of a steelhead.
