Harmon Lake
« on: May 13, 2004, 03:33:51 PM »

SC and I just returned from an overnight fishing expedition at Harmon Lake. We trolled the entire lake for hours until SC hooked into one at the west end. It was a nice looking rainbow. Bright sliver, a very pronounced lateral line and a light pink strip along the side.  We guesstimated it to be around 2.5 to 3lbs.   Zero fish for me.

Hey Terry, I guess I should have went to Davis eh? Next time...

From what I've heard most of the lakes in the Interior are slow right now. Too cold. I spent a week up there and saw very little hatch...deadly for a fly fisher. Once it warms up....look out fish !  ;D

One of my sources says Francis Lake is incredible but also some lake of the Dean River was recently loaded with cutties some other spawners. That one I nailed was the nicest looking fish I ever caught, just unreal. Happy fishing all... :)
