Amazing Salmon truly are the most stubborn and motivated animal in this world. Nothing will stop them reaching their goal.

the problem with low water is when they move they seem to bolt to the hatchery in record time, i suppose theres a real lack of "safe" areas for them to hold out in

This low water has to be putting stress on these fish. They must have to use way more energy to move through some of these really low water conditions. I am sure it has an impact on the aggressiveness of these fish. When they hit a big pool to rest I am sure the last thing on their minds is to attack someones lure or bait. Of course some of these fish might be naturally aggressive but it has to have an impact on the catching.
