Could any one tell me any hike in lakes in The Lower Mainland that also have good fishing and have good scenery (not looking for any secret spots just looking for a good hike and fish)

Caught some decent sized trout out of garibaldi past squamish

Lindeman is really nice, but Garibaldi is something I've always wanted to do. I've heard the lake is beautiful and some of my friends have caught some big trout there.

Yup it's really nice up there! Not too bad of a hike in either, I'd say 3 hours or so for most people

Biggest fish are in Pearce lake which is about the same as hiking up to Garibaldi just shorter and steeper. But hey you want big fish you have to pay the piper. Biggest I've seen out of Pearce is about 3 lbs. Gari about 1.5lbs.

Do you mean Pierce lake, as in Upper and Lower Pierce lake by Mt. MacFarlane, or is this a completely different lake?

Yes I used the wrong spelling for the lake. I would go up for the day fishing and bring a inflatable boat. But that didn't really help because the best fishing was were the creek from the lake above came into the lake. Sinking line and egg imitation was worked the best. I never brought the boat back up there after we found that out. We even went ice fishing up there once. We ended up in a deep hole we shoveled out to get past the 8 feet of snow to where the ice was. Would not do that again but thankfully we carried lots of beer along for the overnighter. Only one small one caught after all the effort.

And if you're looking for an overnighter, head all the way up to Flora Lake (same area as Greendrop and Lindeman).  Generally small fish, but lots of them.  Amazing scenery, brutal hike though...

Upper Pierce has no fish.

Yup, tough lake to fish if you don't know what you re doing, but if you do, lots of fish to be had. Lots of big drop offs and dead heads.
