so I live in west van and do not have a car to make it to the cap. can anyone give me a lift and I will pitch in for the gas. let me know

I have bussed to the cap many times when my vehicle has been gone, and thats bussing from south vancouver ( 45min bus ride)

Impossible!  Salmon hate bikes. They can sense them and they stop biting.  ;D  It's either fossil fuels or stay at home.

Ive gone from Fraser heights-almost langley, all the way to Capilano via transit. The best part is getting looks from people like your crazy :D

Had a friend who lived in North Vancouver who had his driver's licence suspended. Had to walk to the Cap to fish. Complained the bus driver won't let him board the bus because he smelled of roe and beer. He likes his beer first thing in the morning

The reason why I asked for a lift today is because the buss driver once gave me a look of you got to be kidding me and closed the door. yep that put an end to the public transportation/going fishing relationship. I have taken guys out fishing when I have my car. I have done the bike deal but twice got my tires slashed with knife cuts and hooks intentionally stuck in them.

Be sure to file a complaint with Coast Mountain and follow up on it later on. That's total BS that drivers do that to people, and they wonder why they get harassed or assaulted at times.

I've never had that issue. the homeless people they let on smell far worse the  any roe I've smelt.

 i agree, the other day i had a good friend over from the island and we went to get on a bus with our rods and holders, and the bus driver opened the door yellled and left, its like they would rather have kids vandilising or something  ???
