I don't understand, first you want to buy a 7000, then you end up buying a 5600.  ???
Those are two completely different reels for different applications.

Assuming you were looking for an all-around fresh water fishing reel, the 5600 probably suits you more.

FWIW, the handle knob on the 7000 is fit for the task - large prey. A large knob gives you much more cranking power than a small knob. Irrelevant for coho or sockeye, but becomes crucial when you have a 40-50 pound spring with an attitude.

Enjoy your new reel.

Your nothing without the 7000 on the big boys. 8) If you want to go for the little guys then there are lots of choices out there.

Careful when buying the BCX, as far as I know they're now discontinued by ABU for obvious reasons..... not very good quality. Much better off getting a 5500, 6500, etc. Well worth getting one of those over a BCX as parts are everywhere and you know you're purchasing quailty. BCX=Not quality (Sorry!!!)
