Chehalis River, October 27th 2012
« on: October 27, 2012, 10:30:10 PM »

With the rain here last night, we decided to hit rivers north of the Fraser River.

The rain brought in a lot of fresh fish and we were hooking them throughout the day.

All in all, a good day of hooking cohos!!!!

Not many chums today. Roe was the ticket for me but I saw people catching on peach wool.

Lol, well if it was some hot redhead wandering around the bush I don't think I would share that, lmfao  ;).......was light when I was walking out (after fishing) and as I came up over the ridge from the bush onto the path (those in the know will know what I mean, lol) it was walking towards me on the path, stopped....looked at each other for about 10-15seconds and it trotted off down the rocks into the bush....I was just trying to figure out what I was seeing at first and really couldn't believe it as i've only ever seen one other.......definitely would have been a bit more worried if it had been a cougar though....prob would have walked back to the river and fished for awhile longer is that had been the case, lol

Somewhere over, or under, or beyond the rainbow.
I wonder if this should have gone under the Vedder report. "Weather report"

The worst crowds, the biggest beeks, nasties fishermen this weekend.
Everyone casting 2, 3 people up, keeping drifts way too long. Practising right where people are catching fish, tangling.
