Stave River, November 1st 2012
« on: November 01, 2012, 01:13:37 PM »

Funny how the reports slowed down when the fishing got good lol.
So much traffic on this site and so few reports, esp from people who have been on this board for a long time and maybe like me have learned a thing or two and met some fine people and stuff, and some interesting individuals as well ,,,,
I call out people out to come forward and report, its easy~
Anyway, Im on my last week of holidays and fishing my brains out.Hit the Stave this morning.
Water is very high, Fraser is rising and high tide in the late morning, plus this:

Lotsa water today, and explained why the river was Blowing out under the highway bridge when the tide was still coming in.
Lots of fresh fish around and the freshest chum Ive seen yet. Last week I had a few with lice on them and very colored up but better today and yesterday.

Oh and I got a nice coho jack too~

Well that’s got to be the cleanest chum I’ve ever seen come out of that river. It’s like you just won the lottery. Congrats

I just realized what the background was for the coho - at first I thought it was a large trout net.  That is some small jack.

Hmm... and just as I was thinking of hanging up my rod for a while.  Me thinks I'll be changing my mind.

Hopefully the weekend rain will keep the crowds down.
