Thanks. :) We estimated it to be around 12lb. It looks bigger in the photo because I only weigh 50lb. ;)

Nice fish G, I got a bunch more like it today too. Unfortunately, the photos were lousy. Had one like that one that I was sure was a hatchery fish, a guy nearby even netted it for me, but turned out the be a terrible misclip.  I even contemplated bonking it anyway (it was my first hatchery in over 25 fish and only the third this season), but the butcher had left most of the front half of the fin and scissors were not even flush to the back, so the straight cut was about a mm above the back.  Looked like this:

Needless to say, I quickly released it anyway.  At least they "tried" to clip that one.

At this point of the season, it's all about the tug now for me. The family is so sick of eating salmon that I haven't been taking any home for the past month lol!

PS: I wish I could grow a thicker mustache! But I guess that's how far my genetics will take me :(
