Seen the story on tv news but I checked out the newspapers & they also did articles on the topic.
"Return of wolves to Okanagan prompts open hunting season" The Vancouver Sun.
Also shows a pic of a " fat " Grey Wolf 20 km east of Kelowna .

This was a very good objective article as it gives dif. views.

Experts tell that hunters rarely shoot wolves because they are night hunters & are very smart & elusive but the gov. is allowing trapping & meat on a leg hold trap will fool the smartest wolf ya would think.(or however they trap them...maybe meat in a cage where a door closes
)
Article also said that in the far past poison meat was dropped to kill them.
In Washington State just south of the border in the Okanagan area they shot wolves from a helicopter.
Smartest wolve cannot outsmart that method either.
