Chris just called me and asked me to post that his truck was just stolen from a Sardis church parking lot.  The vehicle was spotted by an angler heading up the Chilliwack River valley.  The police have been notified and Chris is now on the Chilliwack Lake road checking to see if it comes back this way.
There will be lots of stuff in the back and passenger seat; hard to miss, really.
Oh, and plastered with Salmo are Sacred stickers.

Seriously, having had my truck stolen in the past I understand how frustrating this is.  
Anyone with info please call Chilliwack police

Hope you get your truck back Chris and I also hope whomever stole it is given what he deserves. So sad that one can't even go to church these day's without worrying if something you own will be stolen.

Can just imagine coming out of the church after singing worship songs & then look to see zero truck where ya thought it was parked .
A quick look about & yep the truck has vanished.

Enough to turn one's inners like a gator in a roll.

And stealing from a church parking lot is very low indeed ; like stealing a old man's cane.

Rumour is the future trading plans of the leaves was in the truck, as well as some Gadsden/ Burke correspondence regarding Luongo.  Mike Gillis is joining the search tomorrow ...

Half a tank. Yes there is many  roads up there. Need to get a plane and fly over the area like the chap that had his loader stolen in Vancouver and found it up at Whistler spotting it from the air from his plane.

Would be a lot harder to spot a little grey pickup compared to a huge yellow excavator. Was the truck 4 wheel drive? A 2 wheel drive would be limited with the snow on some of the FSR's up there as well.

having had my first truck stolen and my second truck broken into for an attempted theft i know how this feels. from a church parking lot though ! now thats one special kind of idiot
