Actually not true. There are only a few places in Pitt Meadows but tyey get real tough to catch in the winter. Hatzic lake in Mission can be really good with the.right water levels. There is also Silvermere lake in Mission as well.

How do I get into hatzic or silvermere? I thought they were closed to public and you needed to "know someone"

Depends on if your shore fishing or from a boat I was out this weekend and the water was still pretty damn cold but I do know a few buddies who where out in boats and got a couple small fish of your gonna fish find m deep water with rock or wood structure because they hold te heat and fish very slow this time if the year I would drag jigs very slowly across the bottom

Check out B.C. Outdoors Sport Fishing magazine Jan/Feb 2013 for an excellent article on bass fishing in B.C. There's a list of waters of bass waters. It's only a partial list but it's a start. It also mentions the illegal transport of fish in B.C. A very good article by Jesse Martin, well worth the read.

Also check out the Bass Anglers of B.C. website for more info and links.
