Even if it were true that the boycott was having any effect on local consumption (and you would need to produce some evidence beyond your personal speculations to confirm that), the fact is the local market for local farmed salmon is a very small component of the overall market the farms supply and attempts to reduce that by boycott have negligible effects on total demand for the farm's products. Anyone who applied even a minimum of logic to the situation would realize that and would realize that it is a wasted effort.
On the other hand, keeping your panties wadded increases the likelihood that you will donate to Morton and her vendetta against farms so it is far more profitable for her to focus on tilting at this windmill than it would be to actually try to organize a boycott in the market that consumes most of the product.
