Hope Obama didn't get food poisoning from eating farmed salmon. Should have sent him some real b.c. Salmon.

Any particular stock of wild BC salmon you think he should have consumed norton?  chinook, maybe? ... name me one wild BC chinook stock that has the numbers to be harvested for any reason other than greed and upcountry FN societal needs; sockeye perhaps ... hmmm, well a few, like the Shuswap and Quesnel spawning conglomerate have enough for a small commercial fishery, some years.
Coho? nuff said.  We could send pinks and chum though - is that what you had in mind?

He would be just fine if he was served the Washington state atlantic feedlot salmon. Just a couple miles too south of our back yard for us to worry about I guess.

Again, kudos Chris.   One of the female researchers on the DFO vessel in that video recently worked at the Chilliwack R hatchery but wisely decided to advance her career and moved to the new Aquaculture division.

Most likely a good move as the government has lots of money in their budget for this but very little for habitat protection and doing more for wild salmon. :(
