Sasamat Lake, April 2nd 2013
« on: April 02, 2013, 10:10:02 PM »

I stopped by the float bridge at Sasamat Lake this evening for a couple of hours just to get some fresh air. There wasn't a shortage of fish after last week's stocking, but coaxing them to bite was a different story. I managed to release half a dozen fish that couldn't resist the red krill. A dozen or so people were fishing, but only three or four were catching.

Where do you get this krill? I don't see it at the grocery store. Anywhere near the North Shore?

Most local tackle stores will carry them. I get mine from Berry's Bait and Tackle.

Highwater Tackle Ltd. on Lonsdale has multiple colours of krill and the best staff in the business imho.

Yep... Get them fast. I was just talking to Steve last night and he said demand has gone up after our Lafarge Lake video was published last week. ;D
