Has any one heard of this Burnaby company and the quality of their toons.

They are as good as the quality control in the Chinese factory where all those crafts are manufactured.
Doesn't matter what you call the boat you are selling or what name and logo you stamp on the toons, it is still a product made by Nanjing Paradise Inflatable or some other major large scale manufacturer from China.

The same holds true for most PVC inflatables on the Canadian market today.
There is nothing Canadian in them except the price.

That's what I've heard as well. All made in China. Which is why I bought cheap ones, which have been pretty durable and lasted years. My 9 footer from Creek Company cost $325.

I was checking these out at the sportsman show....looked like a copy of my outcast that i had.I would buy one of these before a odc or creek company.Just my opinion!

I have a Buck's Bags (http://www.bucksbags.com/cm_cat.asp?id=4) 9 foot pontoon boat that has worked well for me for maybe five years.  I don't use it very hard, but it has been trouble free and doesn't show any wear.

How is it on the water?
I've just used it on lakes, and I've never been on another pontoon, so I don't have anything to compare it to.  The wind really blows it around if there is much of it, but otherwise it makes a pretty good place to fly fish from.  And relatively comfortable. Isn't a lot of work to row around.   All the pieces fit inside my car, and it takes me about half an hour to set up and a lot less to take down.

But what I came back on this thread about was that I was at Costco yesterday, and for 300 US dollars they had a very nice looking pontoon boat.  Practically no straps involved.  The main bags had lots less rocking chair look to them than I'm used to seeing.  The gear bags that strap to my boat's frame are built into the tops of the main bags on the one at Costco.

No probs on the water handles well and is quite comfortable. Getting a Minnkota for it next week so it should add to the fun. was in formed that sometime by September there will be an attachment for my 11 footer so I can add another seat and it becomes a 2 person pontoon. The other bonus about these well built toons is that the company is local, any probs just take it down to their  shop and you are well looked after.
