It's nice to see we have more young people getting out. The only thing that I am upset about is the term urban hunter. Makes it sound like everyone just started hunting last week and that we are hipsters.  ;)

The people in the article are all new hunters with little or no hunting background. B.C. has lost many a new hunter due to anti-hunting sentiment and rhetoric. What I would also encourage those who are getting back into hunting is to join a gun club. My wife and I have joined a gun club this past year, and it is a good way to learn from experienced shooters and hunters in how to use a shotgun and rifle properly.
