You don't really have to watch the tides when you fishing at the cable pool that high.  Lower river is different story.  Tight line

Have not been to Cable Pool yet this year. Are there good number of fish holding there yet?

If I were you, Go check it out yourself after you fish the lower.   ;)

Only one small fish in a few short outings for me.  However those have been mid aft on low tides so not the best odds.
