Really slow last couple nights out at Gary Point.

The tide change isn't so great today, so might try bit earlier today at the park

Is everyone fishing the incoming tide? Is it worth it to go out in the evening (like tonight) when the weather is a little cooler (more activity?) or are the Pinks entirely tide dependant?

Anyone having luck other than incoming tide?

If I remember correctly, you cannot fish the Fraser 1 hour after the sunset. So, I don't know if it's worth doing it...

I checked the "2013-2015 British Columbia Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Guide", but did not find such regulation for tidal portion of Fraser.

Yeah, it definitely applies to the non tidal portion, but I do not think it does apply to the tidal portion.  I would double check that though.

Rain on Sunday and steady cloudy/rain for 2 weeks.
About time. Hope that will cool the water down and heat up the action!

in the fraser, probably not. But you can always tie a mono leader to the mainline if your that concerned

Fished from about 8:30-12:30 today at deas island with no luck. The water was dead calm, I could probably count on my hand how many I saw jump. Saw one person land one though. I probably won't try again until either the native fishery is done or the weather changes a bit.

I was there 1:30-2:30 and saw one fish jump.

was at no.3 & dike rd. @ 8 am-10 am, saw about 10 risers, closest one showed it's hump a mere 6 feet in font of me, there was 10 people there, not even one bite in 2 hours, frustrating  >:( I'm waiting to see what happens on Sat when there's no more commercial or FN seiners.

I guess we'll be fishing in the rain, b/c the run will be over in a few weeks.  Hopefully the cooler weather will bring up more risers.

You will definitely get a lot of line bites from red braid. Use green or black braid if you would rather they bite on the hook.

Went to Dyke road from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.  Saw two risers.  I didn't get a nibble on lure or float jig.  I heard a guy yelling that he had a fish just as I was leaving.

Best fishing I've seen so far was last Friday when it was overcast with a bit of drizzle.  I'm looking forward to some cooler temps, hopefully the fish will move closer to shore.

Went and fished out in Chilliwack today because everywhere else is so slow.

JESUS my wrist is sore from fighting fish. A lot were lost, a LOT, the ones I did manage to land were foul hooked. Tail, back, and hump.

Jigs, spoon, and spinners all got hookups... and snags so I felt like it didnt matter how I fished. Guys next to me.. same thing.

No I wasn't ripping. You could feel the fish go after whatever you had on your line and there was a sweet spot about 20 feet out that seemed to always be where hookups were.

How many (e.g. percentage) were fair hooked?
