Anybody have a link or copy of the new commercial opening?  I can't seem to find it on the website.
http://www.psc.org/NewsRel/2013/NewsRelease11.pdf

I believe its on page 2 after the 3rd paragraph.
This is so sad. It's getting worse every year for the sport fisherman.
I was hoping for at least 1 week of fishing without a single net out there...guess that's not happening.
Good luck to everyone this weekend :D
I'll still be heading out to the river.

reopen on Sunday, September 15, 2013 until further notice with a maximum of 20

WTF!!!!! Sounds like an all out fishing assault!! the poor salmon don't have a chance, are they planning to wipe out the species? No wonder the salmon pop is dwindling with this irresponsible harvesting! We'll be fighting for scraps if there's any left, Good luck to all of you.  >:(

Sorry for the dumb question but since the tidal Fraser has been dismal where in the Chilliwack area are people fishing?

I'm not asking for secret spots etc but I do not know the Chilliwack area very well  other than passing through on #1.

Is the fishing style/presentation different? I've been using spoons here, what works best there?

One last question, since it is so far inland is fishing good anytime of day?

Cheers

Ok so I saw Rod's video about float fishing in the Chilliwack river so presentation is different.

I am interested in going tomorrow to Chilliwack to go fishing. Anyone want to carpool? I can drive but I just need to be back in Vancouver around dinner time. If someone who has fished there is willing to play "fishing guide" I can drive and they can pay me in fishing knowledge:)

Any info greatly appreciated.

Cheers

You interested in going Sunday?

I can drive as well (roomy 08 GMC truck) we could split gas or something. Doesnt matter really. But I am planning on hitting the 'wack sunday for sure, but I am currently waiting on word from a buddy that wants to get the boat in the water. If thats a no go, Ill be walking and wading. I know a few spots, but I also know how to hike my butt around, find water, new spots and sometimes even fishies. Email me if you like!

Print out this Map from Fred's Tackle.  Start at those spots mentioned and start exploring. Good luck.
